Found Poems

So I made some found poems from the books I've read recently...
Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
small and weirdly shaped,
gaps in the wood,
it's light taking over,
a sideways ocean,
straight out from,
under your skin,
glass,
like paint,
a deep blue,
a rich green,
red,
paint,
on the wall.

A Song of Ice and Fire - Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin
the last of,
the,
gallant,
sewer rats,
quiet,
in,
flights,
of,
fire.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

an incoherent failure,
obscene,
erased raspingly,
the shadowy moving glow,
rose higher,
the inessential began to melt away,
a fresh,
new world,
vanished trees,
pondered in whispers to,
the last and greates of all human dreams,
face to face,
he had come a long way to this blue lawn.

  2. First off, let me say that I'm incredibly impressed that you took the time to actually hand write out an entire page of three different books.

But, wow. I love found poems, and these are great.

They look like you put a lot of effort and time into them, with the word choice and artistic aspect as well.

I think my favorite out of the three is the second one, but I like that each poem says something specific about their respective book.

Urgh, ranting. Sorry 'bout that. :'D
Anyways, great job. You should really keep writing poetry.
