Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley

Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley is about a girl named Lucy a recent high school graduate who spends her time working with the premier glass blower in her city.  Lucy, over the years has developed an obsession with a streetartist who names himself Shadow.  The novel takes the reader through one night in which she alongside Ed - a boy she'd gone on a date with once in which she broke his nose - go hunting for the mysterious Shadow.

I really enjoied this novel, I liked the narratives of Poet who narrated in freeverse, his poems are indescribable, and amazing.  I liked when they went to look at Shadow's art, it held an edgy feel but spoke volumes about the artist.  I especially liked the banter between Ed and Lucy the bluntness in which the speak to each other and how they lightly tease one another.  The novel only really revolves around one night but the way the author is able to bring humor, love, and general amazing-ness to the night is brilliant.  I'd give it a 8.5/10
