In this mystery novel, “the curious incident of the dog in the night-time” it talks about fifteen year-old autistic Christopher
Boone, who discovers the intriguing truth of the death of his neighbors black
poodle, who died to a stab into the chest with a pitch fork. Mrs. Sheers, the
owner of the black poodle immediately assumes that Christopher is the murderer
of the black poodle. As Christopher goes on this journey, he over comes
obstacles and discovers secrets and truths of his loved ones.
This book immediately captures you, after a few pages, and it
gives you a sense of how it feels, being diagnosed with autism, and it gives
you a different perspective of autistic people. I give this book a 10/10,
because the conflict and the plot work very well together to explore the theme,
which is decoding and learning to adapt.
