The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck

This story takes place years before the civil war and the great depression and is about Tom Joad and he Paroled from McAlexter Prison for homicide. While going to Saillisaw, Oklahoma he met peacher Jim Casy , who he remembers from his childhood.   The next morning tom and Casy go to Uncle Jons. He finds his family loading a truck with all the valuable items in the house. He finds out that him and many other families were kicked out of their farm lands, and forced to leave.

This book really captures you into the moment, and back into history  I rate this book 8/10!
