The Pearl by By John Steinbeck

This Book takes place in La Paz, Mexio where Kino and his partner Juana live with their son Coyotito. When Coyotito is stung, Kino is on a mission to find enough money to pay for the doctor to heal Coyotito. He goes to sea, to find pearls to sell for money, and lucky enough, he finds this gigantic pearl, that pearl is named "Pearl of the world". The same day they go attempt to sell, it but was forced to sell it a different time, because people were offering unreasonable prices. He decided to go to the capital city to sell his pearl for a better price. However Juana thinks the pearl is bringing darkness and greed, eventually they attempt to go to the Capital City, but they are discouraged to do so, because there were trackers tracking them. The tracker heard a cry, and though it was an animals cry, and shot Coyotito.

I though, this book gave a life lesson, on how you must think twice before things, and think about what and who is good to you, and who is bad to you
