Geronimo Stilton is a funny, classical adventure series in which the main protagonist is a mouse named Geronimo Stilton who lives in New Mouse City and works at the Rodents Gazette-the most famous newspaper on Mouse Island. Geronimo is not a sportsmouse. All he likes doing is curling up with a good book and sipping cheddar tea but this never stops his family and friends to drag him in on adventures. His sister Thea is the special correspondent of the Rodents Gazette who mostly always appears in the books to help Geronimo solve a mystery. Some other characters who mostly always appear are Geronimo’s nephew- Benjamin. Geronimo can never say no to Benjamin as he is his favourite nephew. Another character who makes an appearance in most of the books is Geronimo’s cousin Trap. Trap loves playing pranks especially on Geronimo because he is an easy target and because of this, Geronimo prefers not to hang out with him that often.
Summary:
Geronimo is in no shape at all to be a sportsmouse but this doesn’t stop Grandfather William from dragging Geronimo into the golf tournament to be his caddie. At the tournament, Geronimo encounters one of his old friends- Kornelius Von Kickpaw aka Special Agent 00K. Someone is secretly devising a plan to steal the diamond-studded Super Mouse Cup and Kornelius and Geronimo must figure out who’s behind this before it’s too late!

I read these books when I would like a break from homework and just relax. I would recommend this to anyone of any age as it is a great book if all you want do is kick back, relax and solve a good mystery. I would give this particular book (The giant diamond robbery) a 9/10.

I loved these series when I was a kid, but eventually stopped reading them. They were so cute and simple, I should start reading them again when I have free time.
ReplyDeleteI don't read them often, but when i do, i feel great! Try reading them again. They even have other series like the Thea Stilton Creepella Von Cacklefur ones too now. Give it a shot.
