"Halley has always
followed in the wake of her best friend, Scarlett. But when Scarlett
learns that her boyfriend has been killed in a motorcycle accident, and
that she's carrying his baby, she's devastated. For the first time ever,
Scarlett really needs Halley. Their friendship may bend under the
weight, but it'll never break--because a true friendship is a promise
you keep forever."
This book was a good read and it jumped right into a conflict right at like the beginning of the story. Some of you may like that, while some may think that it's too abrupt and wouldn't want that. I honestly didn't mind and I THINK that this is the first book from Sarah Dessen that I am reading and I actually quite enjoyed it. I have to say, although this was a good book, it didn't grab my interest because some parts were kind of dull and insipid. :/ You would keep reading, but to me, it just wasn't one of those books I would stay up all night just to finish. Overall rating would be 8/10.
I haven't read 'Someone Like You', but the other books I've read by Sarah Dessen I've liked quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteMaybe try 'Just Listen', out of all of them, it's my favorite. :)
