13 Gifts is the third book in the Birthdays series (Is it even called that? I'm just going to call it that, since the whole trilogy is about birthdays). The series takes place in Willow Falls, a place where anything can happen, especially if a certain old woman named Angelina D'Anglelo is involved. The three books are told by three girls, Amanda, Rory, and Tara, who all have had to deal with Angelina.
Tara never wanted to go to Willow Falls. But after attempting to steal her schools stuffed goat, and half blinding her principal, she was spending summer vacation with her cousin Emily and her family. During her stay she meets all sorts of...different people, like Amanda and Leo, two best friends who only talk to each other by writing on chalkboards, Rory, a girl who may be dating Jake Harrison, the movie star, and David, the boy who sings in an empty pool. But after meeting Angelina, she has to gather 13 gifts for Angelina. I would say why, but knowing myself I will probably end up telling you the whole book if I keep going :P
This book is great! I loved how they tied in characters like Rory, Amanda, and Leo from the other books. As well, the book gives off a great message and is a great ending to the series.
