Destined - P.C. Cast

Destined was bad. I guess it had it's perks, but I'm not all for it.

Bad things: Heath came back. Dayumm. I was not thrilled with that. He's a sweetheart, but Zoey was actually happy for once, and he had to come back from the dead and ruin it all? Not cool. Zoey has the brain capacity of a goldfish. She is so stupid. The way she talks drives me insane. I could not stand sentences like  "I blinked a bunch of times".  Really honey? That's just sad. Zoey is, hands down, my least favorite main character of all time. I can put up with boring main characters and stupid main characters to a certain extent … but Zoey is just a despicable, emotionless person. She's a bratty, selfish, whiney little butt head and I hate her stupid guts. So, considering how stupid Zoey was, I was happy with the switching POV's. It worked for this book. Then there's the fact that this is the ninth book in the series. There comes a point in every series where you just have to STOP writing. And this book is WAYYY past that point. When the original good plot is over and done with, please don't come up with some new crappy storyline just because you want to write more books and earn more money.  AHEM BRINGING HEATH BACK. I am so done with this series now, I just want her to finish it off already. There's only so much you can write about teenage vampires. And Zoey has had like 5 boyfriends in 3 months? What is up with that? Heath, Eric, Loren, Stark, Kalona. Personally, I think she should have stuck with Stark. He was a good one.

Things I liked: Well.....hmm....uhm... ???? The switching POV's?

And Heath, just screw off. Like seriously. No one likes you.
