Cammie and Macey soon find themselves trapped in a kidnappers' plot, with only their espionage skills to save them.

As her junior year begins, Cammie can't shake the memory of what happened in Boston, and even the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women doesn't feel like the safe haven it once did. Shocking secrets and old flames seem to lurk around every one of the mansion's corners as Cammie and her friends struggle to answer the questions, Who is after Macey? And how can the Gallagher Girls keep her safe?

Soon Cammie is joining Bex and Liz as Macey's private security team on the campaign trail. The girls must use their spy training at every turn as the stakes are raised, and Cammie gets closer and closer to the shocking truth."

This amazing novel is such a good read, I would recommend it to all mystery readers out there to give this book a shot! This time, it wasn't the cover of the book that caught my eye, but rather the title. It just gave the book a spark for some reason and I decided to give it a try. It was definitely an outstanding idea because this novel was upright and a suspenseful read. Ally Carter is certainly one of my most favorite authors, for that her novels are always intriguing and worth the time spent reading her books. Rating: 9/10

  1. I really liked this one, but as always, Carter's ending messed it all up for me. It was too confusing, and I felt like she was trying to start a whole new storyline in the last chapter of the book! This might have worked if she continued it in the next book, but she didn't. It left me confused and not understanding how she had come to the conclusion she did. There was just too much going on- this becomes very apparent in her sequels. She adds all this crap about "the circle". :/

  2. I love cliffhangers for the most part, so I love her books and even the endings. :$

  3. I like cliffhangers too, I just don't like the way she does them. There is no follow-up. Different opinions though :)
