Try Sarah Dessen books. :) So far out of the ones I've read, I like "Just Listen" the best. My sister cried during "Someone Like You" though. The writing is good and the characters aren't super girly. Susane Colasanti books are good too. :D Also, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli if you haven't read it.
Awesome suggestions! I also like Sarah Ockler (20 Boy Summer, Bittersweet) and Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver which I wouldn't consider a traditional "chicklit," but it's a must read.

ReplyDeleteohh I've read stargirl, good book ;) are the chicklit books like cartoon or they have a realistic plot to it ?
ReplyDeleteThese 'chicklit' books are realistic. They are living every day lives.
DeleteStephanie Perkins is another great option!
